Now the sun’s out the cold bitter winter months seem like a distant memory, but not for us. December was a pretty chaotic month here at Resident Studios, loads of bands and artists passing through the studio but one group filmed their trial and tribulations at the studio.
The Chaos formed in 2011 by Camdenites, Carl Nugent and Lenny Benet from the remnants of their last band ‘Crack Soup’. They were joined on drums by Sharona E. Jones (formerly of Arsehole Robot Party) and Sean Calman (petty thief). Their first single, ‘I Just Had Sex With You (And Now You Can’t Remember)’ sold all 42 copies. Combining a bleeding edge dubstep sound with razor sharp lyrics prompted the highly regarded music mag W*NK to proclaim The Chaos will be ‘the soundtrack to 2013. Definitely. (Maybe).’
Maybe this is being a little liberal with the truth. The Chaos are the subject of a comedy reality spoof series shot in part here at the studios. The team from Hoot Comedy (@hootcomedy) piled down to the studios in the cold winter months to film a tonne of segments for the series that has recently surfaced online and picked up a substantial audience.
Start at the beginning and see what all the fuss is about by visiting the band’s official page. If you want to jump straight in and see some of the footage used from the sessions here just check ou the episode below.
