Terms & Conditions

Resident Studios is a small, but thriving business that is severely affected in the rare event of cancellations and short notice changes to bookings. In order to minimise the impact of such events, we work to the terms and conditions below for all bookings. Please ensure that you have carefully read and agree to these terms and conditions before you place a booking with us.

 

1. Refunds:

Any payments made to Resident Studios for specific services are refundable if notice of cancellation for the specific service is made in writing (via Contact Us above) before the service to which the payment relates has been rendered AND within 7 days of the date payment was made for the specific service.
All payments made are non-refundable if written notice (via Contact Us above) of cancellation is not received within 7 days of the date payment for the service was made. All payments made for a specific service are non-refundable once the service to which the payment(s) relates has been rendered. If the date of payment for a specific service falls within our minimum cancellation period for that service as detailed in the points below, then payments made are non-refundable.

2. In respect of rehearsal room bookings up to 8 hours in duration: 

The date of the booking may be moved to a new date and time (up to a maximum of three months after the original booked date) without forfeiting the advance payment, if notification is given in writing/email to Resident Studios (via Contact Us above) more than 48 hours in advance of the booking’s start time.

The cancellation of a booked session or the moving the time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 48 hours of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking, and any outstanding monies due for the booking must be paid to Resident Studios. In the event that no advance payments have been made for the booking, the full cost of the booking will be required to be paid.

3. In respect of rehearsal room bookings over 8 hours in duration:

The date of the booking may be moved to a new date and time (up to a maximum of three months after the original booked date) without forfeiting the advance payment made, if notification is given in writing/email to Resident Studios (via Contact Us above) more than 5 days in advance of the booking’s start time.

The cancellation of a booked session or moving the time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 5 days of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking and any outstanding monies due for the booking must be paid to Resident Studios. In the event that no advance payments have been made for the booking, the full cost of the booking will be required to be paid.

4. In respect of recording bookings up to 2 consecutive days (where a day is 8 hours or more) in duration: 

The date of the booking may be moved to a new date and time (up to a maximum of three months after the original booked date) without forfeiting the advance payment made, if notification is given in writing/email to Resident Studios (via Contact Us above) more than 7 days in advance of the booking’s start time.

The cancellation of a booked session or moving the time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 7 days of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking.

The cancellation of a booked session or moving the time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 3 days of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking and any outstanding monies due for the booking must be paid to Resident Studios.

5. In respect of recording bookings over 2 consecutive days (where a day is 8 hours or more) in duration and all video and photography related bookings: 

The date of the booking may be moved to a new date and time (up to a maximum of three months after the original booked date) without forfeiting the advance payment made if notification is given in writing/email to Resident Studios (via Contact Us above) more than 14 days in advance of the booking’s start time.

The cancellation of a booked session or moving the time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 14 days of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking.

The cancellation of a booked session or moving he time or date of a booking that has been notified to Resident Studios within 5 days of the booking start time will result in loss of all advance payments made for the booking and any outstanding monies due for the booking must be paid to Resident Studios.
