It’s been a busy couple of days here at Resident Studios, as we’ve welcomed back the talented Sam Ford and his band, who last arrived in April where we filmed an exclusive live session for renowned audio and multimedia products company, Bang & Olufsen. This time however, Sam was here to record his debut EP using our state-of-the-art facilities in Studio A. With the sessions run by engineer Andrew Rugg, they have been nothing short of exciting with a host of versatile musicians passing through. Recording everything from gospel-influenced backing vocals to horn sections, we can’t wait to get the mixing sessions underway next week and and bring this project to fruition.
Sam Ford, who hails from the costal town of Rye, is a singer-songwriter who, along with his band, have been active for a few years now, gaining loyal supporters across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada. His music is combination of intricate melodies and rhythms coupled with introspective lyrics. We’re sure that the results of his EP will live up to his potential.
