It seems like Dean Denmark was always destined for a life that revolved around music. Introduced to the sounds of seminal artists like Eric Clapton and B.B. King by his father, today he takes his cues from both classic and contemporary sources. Weaving real life narratives into his songs while combining traditional folk elements with blues, funk and rock, Dean himself describes his music as “a touch of folk, melodic guitar lines and delicate introspection”.
The Swiss solo artist visited our studios in January to record his new three-tracker, entitled The Grand Places EP. Carefully arranging virtuosic piano and delicate guitar melodies that work brilliantly in tandem with Dean’s impassioned crooning, the end product sounds fantastic (thanks to the talents of Dean himself, pianist Stephan Huwyer and one of our very own in-house producers, Caradog Jones).
Released on April 3rd, Dean’s emotive release is now available on iTunes and Google Play, so head over to one of those platforms and grab yourself a copy.
