Ben Lee’s electric violin breaks Guinness World Record

Resident Studios accommodating to even the worlds fastest superhuman! No, Usain you should be worried, as we are referring to deftness of digits here, specifically applied to vibrating strings.

Ben Lee of the stunning electric violin duo FUSE (http://www.fuseofficial.com/) entered the Guinness World Record books as the worlds fastest superhuman when he managed to hit 15 notes per second playing Rimsky-Korsakov’s classic Flight of the Bumblebee in under a minute. It has taken the fleet fingered fiddle player literally thousands of hours of practice to get into such a record breaking position, many of which were undertaken here in our own rehearsal rooms. The duo filmed an improvised performance of I’m Not Alone by Calvin Harris at our London Recording Studios back in 2010 and have had innumerable live shows, including at the Royal Albert Hall, no less.
