OK so it was a little while ago now but before Christmas, Tyger Drew-Honey returned to Resident Studios to do some more recording. Tyger is best known for playing Jake Brockman in family sitcom Outnumbered. Other roles have included The Armstrong and Miller Show and an appearance on Doctors. His current work includes presenting the CBBC series Friday Download and recently playing Dylan in BBC3 sitcom Cuckoo.

‘Outnumbered’ star Tyger Drew-Honey returns to Resident Studios
However the studio session sees Tyger step away from his acting career to work with Resident Engineer John Martin in Studio A – resulting in a very productive day. Tyger is an experienced musician, having started playing drums age 7 and progressing to guitar and keyboard. Not only that but he has also displayed to us that he is a talented vocalist! Tyger told us that he is always writing songs and aims to spend some more time working on his music amongst his busy schedule. The last musical project with Tyger was released in October 2011 where he joined his co-stars from Outnumbered (Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez) and recorded the classic hit “The Monkees” to raise money for the BBC charity campaign Children in Need. A music video featuring the child stars performing the song on the set of Outnumbered was also created and shown on the program. We thoroughly enjoy working with Tyger and look forward to his future musical releases!Keep up to date on news from Tyger at:Twitter: @tygerhttp://tygerdrew-honey.com/
